Invest India Micro Pension Services Private Limited (IIMPS) was established in 2006. It focuses on encouraging and enabling low income informal sector workers and financially excluded individuals to save for their old age. IIMPS has developed a proprietary micropension model and a scalable technology led process that delivers a range of non credit financial services to the poor.

About the Job:

IIMPS is presently looking for a National Head - Training and Financial Literacy. S/he will be in charge of developing and overseeing the IIMPS training strategy, and its implementation on a pan-India level. S/he will be responsible for managing and monitoring the IIMPS training and financial literacy budget, inducting and managing a highly motivated team of master trainers and facilitators, and cultivating opportunities for collaboration between IIMPS and training institutes and aid agencies in the areas of financial inclusion.

Tasks and Responsibilities:
  •     Developing, implementing, and coordinating the IIMPS national training and financial literacy strategy;
  •     Developing, monitoring, and overseeing the training and financial literacy budget;
  •     Cultivating and seeking out potential partnerships with training institutes and aid agencies in the areas of financial inclusion;
  •     Seeking out potential funding sources for training activities across India;
  •     Managing strategic partnerships with national, regional, and local training institutes and training related vendors;
  •     Engaging and boot camping a team of master trainers;
  •     Planning and executing training and certification for IIMPS's outreach partner staff;
  •     Planning and executing an effective induction training program for IIMPS own staff;
  •     Developing a new certification program and planning its implementation, in consultation with relevant financial regulators and finance product providers;
  •     Supervising and maintaining training quality by master trainers;
  •     Developing training materials;
  •     Developing and implementing effective financial literacy tools.

Qualifications:
    Postgraduate degree;
  •     At least 8 -10 years of relevant experience in communications for development, behavioral finance, microfinance services or banking;
  •     Experience in training facilitation, curriculum development, management, and organizational development;
  •     Demonstrated ability to design, manage, and adhere to project/program priorities and budgets;
  •     Proven ability to induct, cultivate, and manage a cadre of master trainers, training facilitators, consultants, vendors, and remote staff;
  •     Knowledge of/and experience with curriculum design, and training delivery principles (adult learning and different learning styles);
  •     Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and problem solving skills;
  •     Ability to interact effectively with a variety of people at senior and other levels internally and externally in a multi cultural environment;
  •     Excellent oral and written communication skills;
  •     Willingness and ability to travel at least 40% of the time.
