About the Job:
Spandana is seeking a Zonal Manager. S/he should deliver on top line and bottom line targets for a zone through efficient execution of the business plan and management of the team.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

•     Own the business plan and responsible for P and L of the assigned zone;
•     Develop the overall business growth plan for the assigned zone/state, build an efficient team and evaluation/identification of geographies for business expansion, and improve the organization’s penetration in the state;
•     Build and manage microfinance portfolio focused on rural population based on group lending methodology;
•     Plan and phase out the manner with which the existing operations can be expanded and sustained;
•     Evaluate the potential for sustained growth for the organization in the zone;
•     Collaborate with respective team to determine desirable targets, with respect to outreach, branch expansion, and portfolio;
•     Provide overall direction that enables the achievement of such targets, while maintaining quality portfolio;
•     Monitor performance and develop key results areas for performance evaluation of the staff;
•     Plan and coordinate training programs for the staff;
•     Ensure adequate staff for various functions at various levels and manage healthy resource productivity;
•     Engage in maintaining relationships with various external stakeholders necessary to promote the vision and mission of the organization.

Qualifications:

•     MBA with minimum 5 years of experience in a BFSI set up;
•     Experience of leading large teams;
•     Microfinance exposure is a plus;
•     Willingness to travel throughout the state of operation and comfortable with flexible working hours.
