About the Job:
Intellecap is seeking an Associate Director - Strategy Consulting. S/he will be responsible for developing a financial inclusion service line within the consulting practice. The position will be based out of either Hyderabad or Mumbai.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

•     Straddle multiple roles involved in building a consulting practice including business development, client relationship management, institutionalization of systems and processes, team building, mentorship, and project oversight;
•     Develop and manage client relationships, stay abreast of business opportunities and industry trends;
•     Deliver on a topline target;
•     Represent the practice in public fora, and conceptualize and develop thought leading content;
•     Provide management and guidance to project execution teams on approach, structure, managing client expectations and quality control;
•     Build and mentor the delivery team to meet current and future client needs;
•     Contribute to developing and executing on the domestic and global strategy for the consulting practice;
•     Undertake relevant national and international travel as required.

Qualifications:

•     MBA from a premier B-School/an equivalent qualification;
•     At least 10 - 15 years of experience in banking and financial services sector (non-IT), consulting experience will be an advantage;
•     Strong domain knowledge and a proven track record in financial inclusion sectors such as SME financing, microfinance, payments, microinsurance;
•     Good understanding of legal and regulatory infrastructure in the above three segments;
•     Successful track record in building business and developing and maintaining client relationships in banking and financial services sector. Experience of working with development finance institutions, multilateral agencies is preferred;
•     Experience in managing consulting teams to deliver high quality.
•     Strong business acumen and understanding of business issues across multiple focus sectors;
•     Ability to engage senior client management on offerings, emerging issues in focus sectors, lead project scope discussions and provide insightful recommendations;
•     Excellent written and oral communication skills. Experience of leading published work highly desirable.
