About the Organization:
Satin Creditcare Network Limited (Satin) was incorporated in October 1990 as an NBFC. It started operations with the objective of providing ‘doorstep’ credit and savings services to shopkeepers and petty traders in the market places of Delhi.
It transformed into a public company in 1994. Satin aims to provide affordable microcredit for productive activities to both urban and rural borrowers.

About the Job:
Satin is seeking an AVP – Operations. S/he will be responsible for supervising, monitoring, and ensuring the smooth functioning of overall operations. S/he will be based in Delhi.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

    Operations management:

  •         Overall monitoring of the operations in terms of quality as well as achieving targets as per the business plan;
  •         Supervise the market research activity for both branch expansion and product development in the regions;
  •         Ensure the roll out and manage rural branches in accordance with the business plan;
  •         Visit all divisions in the allotted regions handled, at least once in a quarter.
  •     Financial management:
  •         Prepare and manage the operational budget for the assigned regions in line with the business plan;
  •         Ensure that all expenses are under the allotted budget and there is no over spending in the regions.
  •     HR management:
  •         Supervise whether complete staffing requirements are met for smooth functioning of operations in the regions managed;
  •         Conduct performance appraisals for staff reporting to this position and oversee the appraisal process for all other staff in the assigned operational region;
  •         Ensure that the operations team is adequately oriented/trained.
  •     Communication and documentation:
  •         Ensure that timely reporting is followed by different departments in the regions handled to the head office;
  •         Ensure all policy changes are communicated to the field personnel without delay.
  •     Miscellaneous:
  •         Ensure that internal audit compliances are adhered to in reasonable time period in all the allotted regions;
  •         Stay flexible for additional tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

    Post Graduate/MBA in Marketing or Rural Management;
    At least 5-10 years of relevant microfinance and management experience.
