About the Job:
Spandana is seeking a Vice President - Operations. S/he will ensure efficient functioning of all reporting departments in an aggressive and quality driven manner.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
    Participates in the creation of organization level business plans and budgets, so as to provide the operations perspective to the same;
    Participates in all kinds of strategic decision making in the organization;
    Develops department level vision, goals, objectives, and budget, so as to best support achievement of the overall organization's vision;
    Monitors performance versus budget, so as to ensure cost effective implementation of the department plans;
    Ensures creation of department level manuals, work processes, and facilitates uniform understanding and implementation of the same across the department and organization, so as to create a more structured work environment for the team;
    Monitors business progress versus plan, so as to ensure successful achievement of various targets;
    Acts as the thought leader for the operations department aiming to develop a culture of continuous improvement;
    Responsible for recruitment, retention, skill development, growth, and satisfaction of team;
    Manage huge manpower recruitment, retention, effective deployment, and satisfaction;
    Dealing with government agencies.
Qualifications:
    At least 12-15 years (8-10 years for MBA from a reputed institute) overall experience;
    Prefer sales oriented work experience in a BFSI set up;
    Should have experience of leading large teams, microfinance exposure is a plus.
