Kaarak is currently looking for Interns who would contribute to different activities in the organization including research, technical support and business development.
Location: Delhi
Time Frame: Three to six months
Job description
The interns will be expected to contribute to live projects and business development by providing high quality research and programmatic assistance. In turn, the Interns can expect to learn about consulting in Indian development sector.
Some of the tasks may include:-
Compiling background information on live projects, concepts notes and to respond to request for proposals.
Review, format, proof read and edit reports and proposals
Support the research process through:
- Primary and Secondary research and policy briefs
- Assist in drafting the Terms of Reference for the research studies
Provide coordination and logistical support for effective execution of ongoing projects.
Any other work assigned by the Reporting Officer.
Educational Qualification:
Graduate/ Post Graduate Fresher’s in Economics/Sociology/Social Work with excellent academic record.
In addition, preference will be given to candidates who are:
• Driven, tech savvy, articulate and have ability to think on their feet must apply.
• Able to take on tasks and responsibilities
• Open to learning on the job and being groomed towards becoming a professional
• Able to work under pressure & minimal supervision
• Able to Multi-task
• Innovative with a desire to take challenges
• Openness to undertake travel on short notices
Computer skills: Excellent knowledge of Ms Office and Internet usage.
Language skills: Excellent communication in English.
Stipend: INR 15,000 per month
