About the Job:
Spandana is seeking a Vice President - Operations. S/he will act as a thought leader and administrator to ensure efficient functioning of all reporting departments in an aggressive and quality driven manner. S/he will be a key stakeholder in organization level decision making. S/he will act as a primary force for planning and driving business ahead. The position is based in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

•     Participate in the creation of organization level business plans and budgets so as to provide the operations perspective to the same;
•     Participate in all kinds of strategic decision making in the organization;
•     Develop department level vision, goals, objectives, and budget so as to best support achievement of the overall organization vision;
•     Monitor performance versus budget so as to ensure cost effective implementation of the department plans;
•     Ensure creation of department level manuals, work processes, and facilitate uniform understanding and implementation of the same across the department and organization so as to create a more structured work environment for the team;
•     Monitor business progress versus plan so as to ensure successful achievement of various targets;
•     Act as the thought leader for the operations department aiming to develop a culture of continuous improvement;
•     Responsible for recruitment, retention, skill development, growth, and satisfaction of team.

Qualifications:

•     Graduate or Post-graduate;
•     More than 10 years of experience in a BFSI set up;
•     Experience of leading large teams;
•     Microfinance exposure a plus.
