Friends of Women's World Banking, India (FWWB) was created in 1982 as an affiliate of Women's World Banking. Its mission is to provide financial and capacity building services to organizations promoting livelihoods and self-reliance of poor women. Its focus areas include institution building, capacity building, monitoring and assessment services for MFIs, supporting partner organizations that use innovative ways of poverty alleviation, etc.

About the Job:
FWWB is seeking a Chief Operating Officer. She will lead the staff team at the organization. The position is based in Ahmedabad.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

    Coordinate all the project;
    Elicit new projects;
    Fundraising.

Qualifications:

•     Post-Graduation in any Social Science or other relevant subject;
•     At least 10 years’ experience of which at least 3 - 4 years is senior management position, ideally as head of program;
•     Proven ability to mobilize funds;
•     Earlier experience of leading a team;
•     Excellent writing and communication skills;
•     Domain knowledge of at least one of the focus areas of organization: micro and small enterprise, livelihoods, sustainable development, and gender and women’s empowerment;
